IT'S OLD BUT GOLD
saint àvia is confident in the quality and value of the materials used to craft our pieces. Our pieces are made of solid gold that is infinitely recyclable, without losing quality nor value. In an effort to maintain sustainable practices, saint àvia strives to recycle gold and/ or upcycle our pieces whenever possible.
This Recycling Initiative describes how you can do your part while remaining fab.
LET'S START RECYCLING
We understand that individual style can change over time. If you have a saint àvia piece that is no longer worn*, we invite you to return it for recycling, in exchange for store credit of up to 60% of the original purchase price.
You can initiate the recycling process by contacting us at info@saintavia.com with details of the jewelry and proof of purchase, which will be reviewed by us. Once approved, we will provide you with instructions on how to return the piece(s) back to us.
RECYCLING RETURNS
It is at the client’s expense and responsibility to safely return the piece(s) back to us until confirmation of receipt. We recommend using trackable shipping methods and appropriate packaging to ensure that the piece(s) arrive safely back to us.
Upon receipt of the piece(s), we will conduct an assessment to determine its value. This process may include inspections by our qualified professionals or third-party assessors and may take up to 10 business days.
Depending on the authenticity and condition of the piece(s), the store credit offered is up to 60% of the original purchase price. The determination of the store credit is at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to decline any recycling request for any reason and any decision made is final and binding.
If you wish to accept the value of the store credit, the store credit can be used for future purchases on our Sites for a period of 1 year. Any outstanding balance on the new purchase can be settled using the available payment options on our Sites. If GST is applicable to the new purchase, GST will be charged on the full purchase price of the piece(s) and not the net difference between the store credit and the purchase price.
If the value of the store credit is not accepted by you or if the piece(s) do not qualify for the Recycling Initiative, return shipping of the piece(s) will be invoiced to you prior to any returns.
ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA
Piece(s) must meet certain acceptance criteria to be accepted for the Recycling Initiative. These criteria include, but are not limited to, the following:
The piece(s) must be in good condition with no alterations or damage that may affect the functionality or appeal of the piece(s);
The piece(s) must be authentic and genuine, with all original raw materials, parts and components intact;
The piece(s) must be returned with all packaging, certificate(s) of authenticity, and any other items that were included with the original purchase. Any missing item(s) may affect the credit value of the piece(s); and
The piece(s) must be legally owned by you for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of purchase* and is free from any liens, encumbrances, or legal disputes.
INDEMITY AND RIGHTS
By initiating the recycling process, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claims or disputes that may arise as a result of the Recycling Initiative.
We reserve the right to recall, modify or update the terms of the Recycling Initiative at any time and without prior notice. We may update this Recycling Initiative from time to time in order to reflect changes to out practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The most recent version of our Recycling Initiative is accessible via this website, so we recommend you visit this page and check our Recycling Initiative regularly.
